This special concert shares the music and stories of resilience of Bahá’í composers from Iran! These courageous musicians risked their lives and safety to pursue their musical education in Iran in the face of their government’s systemic persecution of Bahá’ís.
Marianne Parker, piano; Maya Shiraishi, violin; and Tom Clowes, cello will perform works by composers including Nikan Milani, Safa Shahidi, and Farid Javidan.
