TarLalala is a performance with a fresh perspective on Persian Sufi and Classical Music. The Sufi section of the concert has roots in the spiritual ceremonies of Persian mystics featuring the poems of Rumi, the legend of sufism. The classical section borrows the principles of Iranian Dastgah or Radif Music featuring the poems of Forough Farrokhzad, the female icon of modern Persian poetry.
The concert primarily plays original melodies, presenting two vocalists accompanied with Persian string instruments and Persian hand drums.
