The Montengarde Culinary Group is a casual, friendly gathering of people interested in recreating and researching global foodways prior to about 1650.
This month's theme is Turkish, Persian and Arabic! At first glance this might seem a little hard to research, but luckily many excellent sources have survived to the present day from these cultures which have been widely translated.
Please bring an attempt at a dish on the theme! If it's your first time coming out, no need to cook - we're just happy to see you! Bring an appetite.
Everyone is very welcome! No costumes or historical dishware required, just a willingness to eat yummy food and enjoy a potluck supper!
