The 1st Zurkhaneh Sports World Championship organized by TAFISA and it is officially patronized by IOC, WHO and UNESCO. The official title of the event is “The 4th Busan TAFISA World Sport For All Games” which is also called “TreX-Games” in common parlance ,since ‘Tr’ symbolizes ‘Traditional’, ‘e’ stands for e-games and ‘X’ represents ‘ Extreme Games’.TAFISA organizes World Festival of Traditional Sports and Games every 4 years.
There will be approximately 10,000 athletes and executives from 100 nations in the world. The whole event will be categorized
under 3 sections and each section will have 19 games respectively, which will be divided into competition and non-competition games. Along with this cultural sporting festival, extracurricular programs will be prepared and they will include IOC Forum (1,000 participants from 80 nations), Sport Industry Fair, and other cultural programs such as World Photography Contest, etc.
