Iran is home to one of the world's oldest continuous major civilizations, with historical and urban settlements dating back to 4000 BCE. It is a country of special significance due to its central location in Eurasia. Iran is an ethnically diverse country, with amicable interethnic relations. Its climate ranges from arid or semiarid, to subtropical along the Caspian Coast (Shomal) and the northern forests. See Wikipedia.org.
Grand Iranian Family is proud to present a series of events on rediscovering Iran. Each event will take on a particular region of Iran and introduces its ecosystem and geography, important historical events, and preeminent and influential people. To top it all, we will hold a small regional food festival and enjoy its traditional music. Please join us on December 13 for a journey to the Northern provinces and the Caspian Coast.
