Private lessons: Any levels (Beginners - intermediate - Advance)
Fee: $35 an hour for private lessons - $25 for group of 5
The Workshop consist of few lectures, presentation and discussions about Iranian music for 2 hours for $40 per person which is twice a month.
Omid Kamkar Lotfi ,a 30 year old Setar and Daf player who divides his time between performing as one of the top classical Persian ensemble musicians and touring around the world with his family, the renowned traditional Kurdish music group The Kamkars and also his father Mohammad Reza Lotfi
In the last 9 years, Omid has increasingly become recognized as a solo performer and the greatest living heir to Iran's illustrious Setar tradition. Omid's unprecedented ambidextrous technique and experiments in tuning, combined with his sheer musicality, have allowed him to reinvent the Setar repertoire. His performing is technically flawless, powerful, and strongly emotional.
