IAB is proud to present an exhibition of a rich collection of black-and-white, water-color and oil paintings from Bahram Yousefi.
Born in Piranshahr, Iran, Bahram Yousefi followed his artistic education in graphic and Painting. He received his B.S degree in 1984 and this was the start of his teaching career in art. In 1997, he studied master degree of research in art from Art University in Tehran. He has spent 23 years of his life in this fascinating field and devoted most of his time to teach it at schools and different institutions.
The expression of feelings and emotions is one of the major characteristics of his work. He was deeply inspired by Expressionism and Surrealism and by well known artistic works of Käthe Kollwitz, Francis Baken, and Alberto Giacometti.
He received more than 60 awards during his artistic life. He served as one of the referees in nationwide Kharazmi and visual arts competitions. He was also honored in art domain from Iranian ministry of Education in 2004.
