Yalda, the last night of autumn and the beginning of winter, is the longest night of the Iranian calendar year, and is observed in every Iranian family throughout the world.
This year’s Yalda celebration of the Iranian Society at Virginia Tech will fall on Saturday December 4th, and will take place in the Squires Commonwealth Ballroom.
