Iranian actors, actresses, and directors come together to read Sketches of Iran, a book of cartoons and essays dedicated to the situation of human rights in Iran, published by the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran. Local actors and guests will be reading heartfelt essays from the book. This event is proudly sponsored by ISAA, Berkeley Lecture Series, Baran Cultural Group, and Diaspora Arts Connection.

Readers are joined by Hadi Ghaemi, Executive Director of the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran, Omid Memarian, the book's editor, and a long list of Bay Area artists and activists.
