Join ISAA to see BBC Persian’s ground-breaking documentary, The Ayatollah’s Seal, which charts the Ayatollah’s reign and, through a number of interviews with relatives, biographers and politicians, builds a profile of Iran’s most powerful man. The film which is approx. 50 min long is by Bozorgmehr Sharafedin and is in Farsi with English subtitles.
In the second part of the program, Head of BBC Persian Mr. Sadegh Saba will deliver a talk. The talk would be in English on the topic Safety of Journalists.
Every year hundreds of journalists, bloggers and media workers around the world are killed, threatened, assaulted and arrested -in 2012, 67 journalists have been killed, according to figures collated by the Committee to Protect Journalists.
The talk would be followed by a Q&A.
