Join Farima Berenji—cultural anthropologist, archaeologist, and Ballet Afsaneh principal dancer—in a four week series exploring the wonders, myths, cultures, and dances of Persia. Farima Berenji is an expert of Iranian dance, history, and culture. In this workshop she will teach dance technique and background on folk styles including Bandari, Kurdish, Lezghi, Azeri, Sistani, Balouchi, Qashqa'i, Gilaki and more.
