The Plastic Wave is a band formed in summer 2008 in Tehran/Iran by Saeid Najafi and Maral Afsharian.
Saeid Najafi(Composer/ Songwriter/ Programming) who is influenced by Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) is the lead guitarist of the band "Dative" for 5 years which is an alternative rock band based in Tehran.
Maral Afsharian (Singer/ Song-Writer/ Bass Player) is the lead singer of he band and also singing for 2 other bands at the present time. she's been working as a full time musician for 3 years.
They wrote various songs for THE PLASTIC WAVE together under influence of bands like Archive, I AM X,Aaron, Massive Attack, Goldfrapp and etc.
Trip-Hop, Psychedelic Rock and Industrial sounds can be heard clearly in this music.
