Persian Poetry Nights (FreshWill), in conjunction with Monkey Nest Coffee, is hosting a public screening of "Tehran Has No More Pomegranates", a multi-award winning postmodern documentary by Iranian filmmaker Massoud Bakhshi. The film explores the evolution of an iconic city with irony, wit, and finesse. "Tehran Has No More Pomegranates" progresses from stunning black-and-white archival footage of Tehran to vibrant color shots of the city modern day, highlighting paradoxes of past and present in a city rich with cultural and historical tradition.
