A MYSTICAL JOURNEY: Sufi Music and other Expressions of Devotion from the Muslim World, premieres in Los Angeles on March 8th, 2008 with subsequent performances in San Francisco, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and New York. The audience will find “A Mystical Journey” a heart warming experience in which world renowned artists from across the globe will uplift the audience through different musical and mystical traditions. Music and dance, in a variety of forms, have been used to express love and devotion to God in many Muslim countries. This concert tour brings together over sixty artists from six countries, performing music pieces, including qawwali's, ilahis, kalams, contemporary songs and dance performances by whirling Sufis, who will take audiences on an inspirational and unforgettable journey of the mind, body, and soul.
