Dr. Fardis is a licensed clinical psychologist working with adults, couples, families, and teenagers. His PhD in clinical psychology was awarded to him by The University of Montana. The approach he has adopted is founded in years of training and clinical experience and is an integration of theories such as psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and family systems. It borrows from classic as well as current literature and research.
It is his belief that a warm and compassionate environment in therapy, in conjunction with problem solving and a growth-oriented attitude lead to better quality of life. The goal is to understand the thought and behavior patterns that detract from one’s happiness and create difficulties in relating to others; and to replace them with healthier ones.
