Do you have a talent you'd like to showcase? Do you love watching your fellow Iranian-Americans showcase theirs? Would you love to have a nice break from the stress of the work/schoolweek?
If you answered 'yes' to any of those questions, please come out to the IACC on Wednesday, March 9th for our first-ever Open Mic Night!
Whether you play an instrument, sing, write poetry, perform comedy, or even rap, we'd all love to see it and support it! This will be a very open, welcoming environment, and we encourage everyone to come out and display their talents without fear of criticism.
Each attendee will be charged $10, and there is no limit to the number of times someone can perform (as long as everyone gets a chance). Simply put your name on the sign-up sheet either as you arrive at the IACC or whenever you want during the performances, and we will make sure you get your big moment! Of course, photos and videos and encouraged, just as long as you're using the hashtag #IACC when posting to social media.
Cameran (the event organizer) will be bringing an acoustic guitar, two amplifiers, a piano, and a drum set, but everyone is encouraged to bring their own instruments, too.
Whether you'll be a performer of just a fan, please try making some time in your busy schedules to attend this event. We're all very excited to host you, and can't wait to see just how talented our Iranian-American community is!
