On the anniversary of July 21 national democratic movement in Iran
We will gather to appeal to every & each of our neighbors and friends to contact their representatives, President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, European Union and United Nations, and ask to bring global pressure on member states of European Union, Russia and China to withdraw their recognition of Ahmadinejad’s government and do not recognize the outcome of the fraudulent elections. Furthermore, to press Islamic Republic’s government to refrain from using violence against peaceful protesters in Iran, free all political prisoners, and to abide by the will of Iranian people; allow freedom of speech, assembly, religion & press; and follow the U.N. Charter on Human Rights, to which, Islamic Republic of Iran is a signatory. If the Islamic Republic of Iran does not respond positively, then international banking & finance institutions should be encouraged & urged to freeze all personal bank accounts abroad belonging to the top government cadre of Iran, past and present, as United Kingdom just a month ago froze $1.6 Billion of accounts.
