He has toured the world as a soloist with various ensembles and orchestras including the New York Philharmonic and the Orchestre National de Lyon. Kayhan is a founding member of the Silkroad Ensemble and his compositions appear on several of the Ensemble’s albums.
Ziya Tabassian is a professional Tombak player, who studied classical Western percussion with Julien Grégoire and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in interpretation from the Université de Montréal.
