Payman Haghani’s second feature film, tells the story of a 63-year old woman through an unusual lens: the characters’ shoes and feet. None of these characters are seen in the film, only their shoes, to which attention is rarely paid in real life. This experimental film is a unique experience, with a wide scope that covers everything from revolution to war, love and hope.
Recently a winner of the special jury prize for experimental filmmaking at the Varna Film Festival in Bulgaria, Haghani’s film has been screened in festivals around the globe, including Mannheim, Prague and Mill Valley.
