For four years, the Iranian Film Festival offers a unique stage for Iranian films in the Netherlands. The festival has made a name for itself by offering a very diverse program of films, documentaries, short movies, music and animation.
This year’s films will be partly about 30 years of Islamic Revolution in Iran, with special attention for the aftermath of this year’s presidential elections. Furthermore we will give space to music, in the form of documentaries about legendary pop-singer Hayedeh, clandestine Persian hiphop and classical music in the capital of Tehran, but there will also be live-performances by DJ Reveal and the Poisonous Poets from London and DJ Ishtar. Finally there will also be a special short-movie competition, judged by a professional jury."
