Iran Solidarity Committee is proud to present the 1st Global Fine Art Exhibition, inspired by the recent events following Iran’s presidential election on June 12th, organized in an attempt to draw attention to and speared public awareness on these events and offering a podium to all artists around the world to express their sympathy with the people of Iran.
The strive for democracy and freedom has been a challenge throughout the history, this time Iranians have stood up and demanded their right in a peaceful demonstrations, yet, have been brutally attacked, killed, and imprisoned. Despite the wide censorship and imposed limitations, their voice has reached the international community and touched many lives. This exhibition aims to provide an opportunity for artists to express themselves through the unique medium of art, as an alternative way of expression.
Art pieces to be featured include performance arts, music, paintings, photography, documentary films, visual art, graphite, caricature and many more from around the world.
