The popular Iranian-American comedy star and founding member of «The Axis of Evil – Comedy Tour», MAZ JOBRANI with his new, hilarious and controversial book and live show: I’m Not a Terrorist, But I’ve Played One On TV.

This time Jobrani follows up his bestselling autobiography from 2015 with this acclaimed standup tour of the same name, where he shares his struggle to build an acting career as an Iranian post-9/11 USA – and how he overcame Hollywood’s stereotypes in an industry that viewed him as the perfect TV-terrorist. As the publisher describes it:
«A hilarious and moving memoir of growing up Iranian in America, and the quest two make it in Hollywood without having to wear a turban, tote a bomb or get kicked in the face by Chuck Norris.»

Maz Jobrani got his big break as part of the groundbreaking «The Axis of Evil – Comedy Tour» – satirically named after George W. Bush’s description of Iran, Iraq and North Korea. The comedian and actor has performed worldwide with his stand-up, including in the Middle East in front of the king of Jordan, and has had over 50 guest star appearances in popular television series such as 24, Grey’s Anatomy, The West Wing, NYPD Blue, Curb Your Enthusiasm and True Blood. Maz has also been a guest on big talk shows such as The Tonight Show, The Colbert Report and The Late Late Show just to name a few.
