The Persian New Year, commonly referred to as "Nowruz," is a festival of Persian origin, which has been celebrated for more than 3,000 years marking the first day of spring.
The Iranian Federated Women's Club/Payvand in partnership with the City of San Jose District 10 Council member Johnny Khamis has prepared a very special and intimate event for Friday, March 24, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the San Jose City Hall Rotunda, which is located at 200 E. Santa Clara Street in San Jose.
Please join us for a memorable evening featuring exquisite Persian cuisine exclusively-prepared by Uncle Ray's catering. Guests will also be treated to Persian traditional decor and table setting by Afsaneh Nader, music, and performances by Faranak Shahroozi, Moein Viva, Sabiba and many more local artists and groups. The Emcee of the program will be Nilou Nouri.
Your support and attendance will help IFWC/Payvand further its commitment to our local communities by empowering women and promoting the Persian arts and culture through education, scholarships, and cultural experiences.
Parking is Free.
