Overcoming Censorship: Jafar Panahi's "This is Not a Film" Past

Your AS Senator for Marshall College, Tara Vahdani, is working in collaboration with the Iranian Student Association to host a screening of Jafar Panahi's 2011 film cunningly entitled "This is Not a Film".

Professor Babak Rahimi of the UCSD Literature Department will be speaking prior to the film on the state of Iranian Cinema since the Green Movement.

Persian pastries and tea will be provided during the screening so you don't want to miss out!

*Please Note - The film itself is in Farsi, but there are English subtitles throughout.
