Oakland East Bay Symphony celebrates Persian New Year ("Nowruz") with music from this part of the world, as well as a great work from the Western classical tradition featuring Iranian guest artists. Works by Behzad Ranjbaran, Ahmad Pejman, and Omid Zoufonoun (with Amin Zoufonoun on kamanchech). Beethoven's Triple Concerto features Tara Kamangar, piano; Cyrus Beroukhim, violin; and Arash Amini, cello.
