Persian New Year festival Past

The event includes Persian dances and music performances, and presenting traditional costumes and handicrafts. The upcoming event will be a unique ceremony to present the regional Persian dances (Azari) for the very first time in Newcastle. It will be a great chance to listen to the nice sound of live-playing Daf and Santoor, the traditional Persian instrument.
This event is greatly supported by Australian Persian Arts Centre and Persian Place restaurant, well-known among local and Persian community in Newcastle. Persian Place will provide great Iranian food, which are of unique taste. There will be the opportunity for three event audience to win the “free entry ticket” at Persian Place for one year.
