Since 2010, six major annual events have been held in Los Angeles focusing on the denial of all aspects of Human Rights (religious, educational, women's, etc.) for all Iranians living in Iran. Past speakers included Roxana Saberi, Rudi Bakhtiar, Maziar Bahari, Nazanin Boniadi, Abdol-Karim Lahidji, Homa Sarshar, Mehdi Khaladji, and Abbas Milani, with this year's speakers to include Masih Alinejad, Mehrangiz Kar, Max Amini, and Ali Pourtash.
