Enjoy an outdoor summer live performance and screening. London Iranian Film Festival welcomes the live performance of the renowned Iranian musician, Daraya Dadvar, and of the critically acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Abolhasan Davoudi and his award winning film Rokhe Divaneh (Crazy Castle).

Born in Iran- living in Paris, Darya grew up in an artistic environment in Iran. Her mother is a singer and director of Marionette theater.

In 1999, She obtained her "Diplome d'Etude Musicale" (Gold Medal) in voice. She finished her musical education in National Conservatory of Toulouse/France in the year 2000 and obtained a first class as well as a Diploma of professional cycle in Baroque Style. Darya has also a Master Degree in Art at “Ecole des Beaux-Arts” of Toulouse/France.

Since 2001 she has resided in Paris, engaged in a successful career as a soprano, attracting listeners from around the world. Her concerts are heavily attended. One of her unforgettable performances was in Iran, when she appeared in the role of Tahmineh, from the tragedy of “Rostam & Sohrab - Shahnameh Ferdowsi”, with the Armenian Symphony Orchestra, composed and directed by Loris Tjeknavorian.

This was the first time that an Iranian woman was singing on the stage as a soloist after 24 years of Islamic revolution in Iran.

Having been nominated for 11 awards and taking home the Best Film and the Best Director awards at the 33rd Fajr Film Festival (2015), this is undoubtedly one of the best Iranian film of the past year.

Summery: The story follows a number of young people who get to know each other on the internet and after joking and making bets with each other, they find themselves on a daunting and complex path. A path that gives them a new understanding of life.
