Arshid Azarine had classical piano training under Romano der Abrahamian and Aghdas Pourtorab. His 'Persian sketches for piano' is a selection of original compositions, based on improvisations and Persian poetry - a fusion between Persian traditional music and jazz.

Arshid Azarine is a Franco-Iranian musician and composer, as well as being a high profile consultant in Cardio Vascular Imaging, a field in which he has made important contributions.
