Description
Sa’adi Shirazi is a prominent figure and a shining star in the Persian literary art. Sa’adi is one of the major Persian poets of the medieval period.
[More]Written in 1258, his remarkable work, Golestan “The Rose Garden”, remains a source of inspiration for the speakers of the language. Mainly in prose, Golestan contains stories and personal anecdotes. The text is interspersed with a variety of short poems, containing aphorisms, advice, and humorous reflections.
On the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 7:00 p.m., our esteemed colleagues, Dr. Ghasem Bayat and Dr. Ali Soltani review lessons from Golestan with the interested audience. This educational gathering is free of charge and open to the public.
