Haleh Emrani, entrepreneur, engineer, historian and philanthropist, was born and raised in Iran. She immigrated to the United States in 1983. She earned her bachelor’s degree from California State University at Northridge, her master’s degree in Near Eastern History from California State University at Fullerton and her Ph.D. from UCLA with a focus on social status of women in Late Antique Iran. Emrani now serves as the business development manager at CorpInfo Services in Santa Monica, Calif.

The lectureship is made possible through contributions to The Mohammad Mossadegh Servant Leaders Fund from friends and alumni across the world. The Mossadegh endowment perpetuates the spirit of Servant Leadership by providing annual lectureships a
