Hossein Alizadeh, the tar maestro who is considered an inspiration to an entire generation of Iran’s musical culture, and Kayhan Kalhor, the kamancheh virtuoso who has been instrumental in popularizing Persian music in the West and is known to Chicago audiences from his appearances in Silk Road Chicago. They are joined by the remarkable young vocalist Hamid Reza Nourbakhsh, leading disciple of the renowned Mohammad Reza Shajarian.
