The founder of the celebrated Masters of Persian Music ensemble, Kalhor has also toured and recorded internationally with Yo-Yo Ma's Silk Road Project and his haunting sound appeared in Francis Ford Coppolla's 2007 film Youth Without Youth. This is "world chill" at its absolute folkloric best.
